The larger the lens, the larger the field of view – and the more likely both hands and the workpiece fit underneath without constantly repositioning the lamp. These three series carry the largest lenses in the Lumeno range.

The three versions

  • 824XPRO – 177 mm, round: the largest round real glass lens, in a metal housing, dimmable with segment switching.
  • 851X – 152 mm, round: at 1,150 lumens the brightest lamp in the range, dimmable, optionally with a rolling stand.
  • 861X – 110 × 150 mm, oval: the field of view is wider than it is tall. That suits anything where you follow a line – a solder seam, a nail edge, a fabric seam, a row on a board.

A large lens does not mean more magnification

The two are independent: the diameter determines the field of view, the dioptre rating the magnification. All three series are available with 3 dioptres (1.75×, around 33 cm working distance) and 5 dioptres (2.25×, around 20 cm). Anyone working under the lens for long stretches is usually more comfortable with 3 dioptres and a large lens than with strong magnification and a small section.

A scratched lens is no reason for a new lamp, by the way: a matching replacement lens is available separately for all three series.
